WHAT IS MASTERBATCH & COMPOUND

Masterbatch is a concentrated mixture of pigments and additives used for coloring or imparting specific desired properties to plastics (are used further in compounding). Masterbatches are classified into five major types – black, white, color, additive and fillers.
Compound is polymer formulations by mixing or/and blending polymers, fillers, pigments, additives and masterbatches. These compounds have fixed set-point properties as per specification and end application. Eg. Crast, Transtep, Matt, Automobile & Precolored compound etc.
White Masterbatch

Highly dispersed White masterbatches specially designed to obtain high opacity, gloss and whiteness.

Antiblocking Masterbatches

Antiblocking masterbatches are necessary to avoid film blocking on the reel. Furthermore these masterbatches have a relevant effect on other properties of the film such as, for instance, optical properties, coefficient of friction, printing and metallization quality.

Slip Masterbatch

Slip masterbatches are used to modulate the coefficient of friction (COF) of BOPP films. Besides the COF modulation other factors as optical properties and printability have to be respected. Films formulated with slip MBs provide stable very low COF independent of aging, hot slip properties and is compatible with printing and metallization.

Antistatic Masterbatches

Antistatic masterbatches are used to avoid static charging of BOPP films. Each application, for instance labels, packaging films, industrial films, requires different antistatic performance.

Cavitating and Pearl Masterbatches

Cavitating masterbatches are used to produce voided films with reduced density and high opacity, which represents a great opportunity to enhance the appeal of your packaging. We produce both Organic and Inorganic cavitating masterbatch.

Matt Compounds

Matt Compounds are mainly used to achieve special aesthetic effects as matt/silky appearance to obtain different targets for haze, gloss, coefficient of friction and sealability.

Hydrocarbon Resin Masterbatches

Hydrocarbon resin masterbatches Stiffner masterbatch are used to incresased stiffness and decrease permibility by creating nucleatation. It is used in the shrink and Transperrent BOPP films.
